Begin to wash over earth.

Mystifying magic rules over the world,

As majestic swans take flight.

May time pass, ever so swiftly,

May pain dissolve into the night.

 

A single candle lights up the globe,

With a mystical flickering flame.

Gallant knights fight for the throne,

Heroes and villains, all the same.

 

Two unsure steps onto a gelid pond,

In the swirling, silent night.

A crow sounds morning’s dawn,

As sages tell wrong from right.

 

As livid eyes watch bright, shining stars,

Pale ghosts hide apprehensively.

Wounded reindeer hide their scars,

As Mother Earth licks them affectionately.

 

Tales of a foreign country mystify all thought,

As glorious birds from a fairy-tale disappear into a spark.

Unified nations find meaning in the might they always sought,

And illuminated, beating hearts vanish into the dark.
